In the planned Workshop: A20: FDM printing. celebrated in 13 september of 2021, in Fjölbrautaskóli Norðurlands Vestra , Souderkrokur VET and secondary school , we created a snow spike in Tinkercad and printed it in the FNV 3d installation

In the planned Workshop: A19: Software to Design 3d objets celebrated in 13 september of 2021, in Fjölbrautaskóli Norðurlands Vestra , Souderkrokur VET and secondary school , we learned the main Software to Design 3d objets

  • Tinkercad a online Browser based and Direct Modeling OpenSCAD software for 3d with a incredible implantation in Education.
  • Vectary an online Browser Mesh Modeling tool used mainly for Animation.
  • SketchUp a Free a Browser Direct Modeling Architecture software
  • BlocksCAD a Browser OpenSCAD especially ligated to Education
  • The veteran Blender a Sculpting, Mesh Modeling and Game Design tool
  • Others like Vectary, Meshmixer, SculptGL or ZBrushCore where mentioned.

Finally we make an introducction to Tinkercad which was improved in the next workshop

In the planned A18: 3D Printing Technologies Workshop celebrated in 13 september of 2021, in Fjölbrautaskóli Norðurlands Vestra , Souderkrokur VET and secondary school , we learned the main Printing Technologies which are utilizated nowdays, FDF, Slicing printing and metal Printing .

Workshop A25: Innovation and entrepreneurship with VR. VR Virtual Reality applied to Soudarkrokur Puffin museum

VR is a new world of chances for Innovation and entrepreneurship in this workshop. We will discover a real example of this Innovation and entrepreneurship using VR. The creation of the first world puffin museum with the inniciative of Mr Árni Gunnarsson .

This activity was meant to be celebrated in the C5 mobilty in C. Republic but as we count with an great expert in VR and entrepreneurship in this congress (Mr Árni Gunnarsson ), we have change some actitivies dates and will be celebrated here.

Puffin is a bird equally nice and lovely and one of the biggest Puffies colonies of the world is situated in the innaccesible clifts of the islands of Drangey, Malmey and Þórðarhöfði in front of Souderkrokur and Hofsos, Skagafjordur islands.

They are a natural heritage which has to be preserved

If all tourist would went to those islands, first there would be a great number of accidents in this islands and secondly the natural Fragile environment of these birds would be in danger.

Mr Arny, profersor of FNV, have created a Local inniciative to allow tourist visit the Puffy colonies using last VR technologies and feel like if we were there in the first world Puffin museum

In this workshop Mr. Arny showed teachers and students how this museum had been made and let us feel like if we were in the Puffins cliffs

From this lines we thanks Mr Árni Gunnarsson , the collaboration with our project.

Workshop: FNV Metalware exhibition

FNV has a great experience in the development of Crafts in their VET Studies . In this workshop, FNV profesors and students showed us how they implement this studies and Knowledge.

FNV counts with metal crafts in vocational education and training studies with a great specialization and installation with Metalware as metal welding, jellewery creation, industrial Metal cutting.

Mobility C4 Iceland – European Congress: “DESIGN WITH 3D PRINTING: APPLICATIONS TO ART AND EUROPEAN CRAFTSMANSHIP”

This Mobility C4 Iceland Mobility has been configurated as the 4th European Congress: “Design with 3d Printing: Applications to Art and European Craftsmanship” of the Project : Using ICTs to preserve European Craftsmanship. with code 2019-1-ES01-KA219-065673

This movility was originally planned for 04-2020 but due to COVID Restrictions it has been delayed to September of 2021.

In this congress Teachers and students from the differents schools of the erasmus project participated in the following activities : cultural activities, formation sessions , exhibitions and Working Sessions.

Fish Leather crafting is a very specialized tecnhinque used in iceland to create smoth leathers from the fish skin.

Coordination Virtual meeting 27/04/2021

To overcome the management of this project with a complexity of 6 schools in differents countries, 4 time zones and different schools calendar plannifications, it was a strong challenge but with the COVID contraints , its like a engineering project.

In this context, Schools Erasmus teams are working to keep our planifications and objetives alives and to overcome this task, we celebrated the day 27/04/2021 the Coordination Virtual meeting , where coordinators expresed their ideas and the state of the project in each schools.

Also we dicuss the posiblities of develop the mobilities in the context of the restrinctions, due to the lack of information we will overcome this plannification in nexts meetings.

Thanks to all the Eucrafts Erasmus teams to continue this job.

Starting to develop the Virtual Museum

Creating a Virtual Museum is one of the objetives of this project … we are starting to develop this Museum which will be a great contribution to the european cultural heritage.

Our students are working in crafts reseachs which are being created in a collaborative way using the etwinning portal.

Swot Analysis workshop & Crafts Swot Analysis

Use SWOT Analysis is an system to assess an organization’s or sector current position to Find out what’s working well, and what’s not so good. SWOT stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats, and so a SWOT Analysis is a technique for assessing these four aspects of your business.

Our students recived a workshop last week and they are collaborating in teams to create a Swot Analysis of the Crafts sector and uploading it to our Etwinning project page.

We have created this manual for our students to create their reseachs and upload them to the different platforms of the project.

Each student in the proyect will

  • make a research of several typical crafting in their country
  • make a powerpoint of the crafting (with the template )
  • Upload it to etwinning with your name
  • fill the form to include it in the virtual museum.

D) Delivery of works

The students will deliver the works by etwinning and by the work form. It is mandatory that they be delivered in two ways to comply with the commitments made in the project application:

IMPORTANT must be sent by both (form and etwinning)

1st) google form: Students will have to fill in the following google form to create the rest of the final products of the project:

We will use this information to create the European Museum of crafts . Important: In this field you should enter the information of the presentation. Just copy and paste it from the presentation.

3) Go to the “page” tab.

4º Add a File with your work clicking on “Add item” in each of the handicraft categories (Ceramic, glass, textile…)

When uploading, put in the “name” field: “country, region. name of the Craft ”and as“ description ”the name of the students.
